What personal data do we register and why
The data processed and registered are the data you have submitted
in your application to the Fondation Idella, including informaton
about your name, title, address, telephone number, email, gender,
age, nationality, educational institution and CV.
The purpose of processing your personal data is to be able to consider your application for support from the Fondation Idella.
If you receive a travel grant, your personal data will be included in
our records of supported projects.
If your application is not successful, your personal data listed below
(see “Data Deletion Policy”) will be included in our in-house records
of received applications.
Data Deletion Policy
We will only keep your personal data as long as necessary. The information you provide, will, as a minimum, be retained until a decision
has been made on your application. Afterwards, the following data
will be retained based on the below criteria:
If you receive a travel grant
If we decide to grant support, information about your name, address, telephone number, project title, educational institution etc.
will be retained with the purpose of drawing up a list/bibliography
of supported projects.
Data will be retained in compliance with legal provisions and as
long as we consider it necessary for the data to be included in our
in-house records of received applications and supported projects.
An assessment of how long it is necessary for us to retain your
data will be made, based on the need to register which projects
have been granted support and to be able to achieve, among
other things, a balanced allocation of support for the different
areas of education.
If you do not receive a travel grant
If we decide not to support your application, information about
your name, gender, age, nationality, project title and, where applicable, educational institution will be retained in our in-house
records of received applications.
All other information (address, telephone number, e-mail and CV)
that you have submitted to us will be deleted as soon as possible
after a decision on your application has been made.
Personal Rights
You have the right to obtain insight, rectification or deletion of your
personal data and can contact us via the contact details below. In
addition, you have full right to data portability, so that upon request
you will receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used
and machine-readable format.
You may at any time complain about the processing of your personal
data to the The Danish Data Protection Agency.
Transfer of Personal Data
Fondation Idella does not disclose or resell personal data to third
parties. Where legislation requires data to be disclosed to official
authorities, disclosure may take place.

The Legal Basis for Data Processing
Your personal data are processed partly based on the consent you
can give below, and partly on the legitimate interest of the Fondation
Idella in processing information about received applications and supported projects, cf. Article 6 (1) of the General Data Protection Regulation, schedule (f) (legitimate interest) and other regulations. As a
mater of form your consent is requested below, as the fundamental
basis of Fondation Idella’s processing of personal data is grounded
on the Regulation on the Balancing of Interests.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending a written
request by email to mail@idella.li.
In case you revoke your consent to having your personal data registered during the application process, we will make a concrete evaluation of whether the data should continue to be processed in accordance with Article 6 (1) of the General Data Protection Regulation,
schedule (f) (legitimate interest) and other regulations.
